We’ve put together a sample fundraising email that you can use as a starting point for your April Showers fundraising campaign. If you would like to create your own email solicitation, check out our guide here for some tips.

Helpful tip — Add “?amount=20.19” to the end of your fundraising page URL in your email and it will automatically populate $20.19 when folks click on the link!

Subject: We must keep the pressure on!

{{Insert First Name}},

Three months into 2019, it’s evident that our work to take back the House last November was not in vain. House Democrats are using their new power in the majority to investigate the Trump administration’s corruption and crimes and push back on the his racist border wall, all while advocating for democracy reform, a Green New Deal, and protection for Dreamers and TPS recipients.

But none of this would be possible without the support of Indivisibles and other grassroots groups around the nation. We worked tirelessly to get these folks elected and continue to push everyday for these important pieces of legislation that provide a powerful alternative to Trump's hateful agenda. We have the leverage, and we need {{INSERT YOUR MEMBER OF CONGRESS}} to go on offense for progressive values {{OR, IF YOU HAVE A CONSERVATIVE MOC: “to stop rubber-stamping racist and xenophobic policies”}}.

To do this, we need your help. We exhausted our funds pushing back during March recess and have set a goal to raise $500 this month for upcoming actions... AND Indivisible National has offered to match this goal, dollar for dollar -- but only for support received in April.

Help us reach our goal and meet this matching challenge by chipping in $20.19 -- your gift will go twice as far if you give today! {{INCLUDE LINK TO ACTBLUE PAGE}}

{{INSERT GROUP NAME}} is completely volunteer run, and your contribution will help us pay for signs for rallies that demand oversight, gas for district office visits, and snacks for our tireless volunteers.

Chip in $20.19 today so {{INSERT GROUP NAME}} can organize, build power, and continue to fight back in 2019. {{INCLUDE LINK TO ACTBLUE PAGE}}
